Losing my dignity to Janathon

So the plan for Janathon Day 3 exercise was as follows. I had an appointment in Bexleyheath at 10am, so I was going to get my hubby to drop me there and I’d run home after. That would be approximately 5km with a few interesting inclined.

In reality, 8am alarm goes off – I snooze it, 10 minutes goes by, alarm goes off – I snooze it… I do this one or two more times, you get the idea. Finally I’m up and it’s 8:50am – need to be out by 9:45am at the latest – this doesn’t quite pan out as my kids got up later than usual, so I lost my lift, as the kids wouldn’t have been ready in time to go! I was too lazy to get the bus, and had now left it too late and to put it politely, the weather was pants! To quote Peter Kay “it’s that fine rain, soaks you through!” I don’t mind running when it’s cold – but I’m preferable to it being dry!!!

So now what to do for my Janathon contribution, and then I had it. We’ve got a Wii – unfortunately our original Wii had broken and was no longer working, but as luck would have it when we were on our family visit to my brother and his family on Friday we mentioned that our Wii had died and it came about they had just got a Wii U and so had a spare Wii console we could borrow – result!!!

So for Janathon Day 3 – I provide video evidence of me doing Zumba on the Wii! Made harder by my 2 year old Blue One lying on the floor clutching my feet! I did have dance company in the shape of my Pink One.
Who’d have guessed that I would lose my dignity in the name of exercise!?!

So we have a Calypso Warm up and Beginners Salsa!

Enjoy (at my expense)!!! 😊️xxx

I’m sure there’ll be more Wii based exercise over the next few weeks!!!
